Frequently Asked Questions

What is different between a Swedish Massage & a Deep Tissue Massage?

A Swedish Massage is a more gentle treatment with a slow/medium pace. Whereas a deep tissue massage reaches the deepest layers of muscle to help remove tension from the body.

I want a full body massage - how long should I book for?

You'll need to book for at least 60 minutes for it to cover the full body.

Do I need to bring anything to the massage?

No, all you need to do is relax!.

Is it normal to feel a little sore after a Deep Tissue massage?

Yes, it is normal to feel a little tender but you shoudn't be in lots of pain. It usually takes a day or so for the soreness to subside. It helps if you keep hydrated and drink plenty of water straight after treatment plus have a nice hot bath or shower.

I am nervous about having a massage & I don't know what to expect

Book in for a "MySpa signature massage" as this treatment is completely tailored and bespoke for you. I will try my best to make you feel as comfortable as possible :)
